About Rachel
I’m Rachel Nowazek, owner of Cedar Point CPA.
I graduated from North Island College (NIC) with a Bachelor of Business, accounting major, in 2020. In 2021, I began working with a Campbell River CPA firm as an articling student, working toward my CPA designation. I became a member of CPA BC in 2025.
I grew up on Quadra Island, and after five years working in public practice in Campbell River, I started Cedar Point CPA to provide practical accounting support for the businesses and families I know best.
My primary focus is to help small businesses make confident financial decisions. This means more than simply preparing tax returns or filing paperwork on time. It means keeping your books organized, helping you understand what the numbers are telling you, and having practical conversations about cash flow, GST, compensation planning, and the challenges that come with running a business.
Cedar Point CPA focuses primarily on clients on Quadra Island and the surrounding outer islands, while also serving businesses and individuals in Campbell River.
My current license includes tax return preparation and compilation engagements. For review engagements, audits, trust returns, or U.S. tax filings, I am happy to refer clients to trusted professionals who specialize in those areas.

The team
Just me — that’s the appeal. When you call, you get the person doing your work. When tax season grows beyond what one person can handle, I’ll bring on help carefully, but the relationship will always be with me.
Community
I’m proud to support the 2026 Campbell River Poker Run charitable auction with a Cedar Point CPA tax-strategy session, with proceeds going to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation, Campbell River Search and Rescue, and YANA (You Are Not Alone). Other community work — tax clinics, local boards — is on the roadmap as the practice settles in.
